Kateřina Drlíková - Freelance Teacher and Advisor, Czech Republic

Katerina Drlikova has a MA degree in English and History from the Philosophical Faculty of Palacký University Olomouc, Czech Republic. She also passed a two-year university course in Pedagogical studies and a course of New Methods in English Language Teaching. She has twenty years of experience teaching at public and private schools. Currently, she works as a teacher and translator. She is also active in home-schooling, primarily focused on children with specific needs and creative approaches to teaching. She cooperates with the Czech Association for Home Education and various organizations providing training on creative teaching methods and promotion of new technologies in everyday teaching to teachers at public schools.

Some point of professional history
From 2003 till now – University of South Bohemia, assistant professor, from 2015 associate professor, 2003-2008 vice head, 2008-2011 head of the Department of Trade and Tourism, since 2019 vice-dean for international relations of the Faculty of Economics, research experience in the field of trade, tourism, marketing, regional development.
2009-2014 – member of the Managing Committee Erasmus Czech Republic
From 2009 till now, national expert of the CEEPUS programme
Since 2009 – participant in co-ordinating programmes within Youth in Action or Erasmus IP projects.
