Juraj Illéš studied architecture at the Faculty of Architecture of the Slovak University of Technology and is the authorized architect of the Slovak Chamber of architects. He is involved in planning construction in rural areas, recreational areas, planning agro-tourism farms and accommodation facilities for recreation and tourism in agricultural areas.

Roberta Štepánková is an associate professor and vice-dean for education at the Faculty of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra. She leads the Department of Landscape Architecture. In her research and teaching activities, she focuses on aspects of sustainable development of rural areas, and issues of landscape planning for rural areas and rural settlements.
