Dr. Eliza Farelnik - Author and Conference Organiser-Department of Theory of Economics, Faculty of Economic Sciences UWM- University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Poland

Her scientific and didactic interests focus on the functioning of the Polish National City Network of Cittaslow. She is the author of many publications in the field of rural development, citta-slow organizations, and rural tourism. The organizer of conferences on subjects related to local development issues, rural development models, and urban-rural relations, in which tourism was a strong focus of consideration.

She is also interested in issues of regeneration and the economic aspects of local and regional development.

Dr. Eliza Łojko -  Researcher and Academic Teacher - Department of Economic Policy, Faculty of Economic Sciences UWM - University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Poland 

She deals with the problems of the rural labor market and rural tourism from the perspective of the social economy. Author and co-author of over 65 scientific publications, including monographs, research reports, and articles on the border of social policy and social economy. Member of the Polish Economic Society and the Team for Cooperation of Science and Social Economy operating at the Regional Committee for the Development of Social Economy of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. As part of the Social Economy in Warmia and Mazury project (Sub-measure 11.3.2 Coordination of social economy in the region in 2014-2020), she implements activities related to the dissemination of knowledge and the development of the social economy sector in the Warmia and Mazury region - especially in rural areas. She conducts research and classes for students on the role of thematic villages as social economy entities in stimulating and developing rural tourism. She provides lectures for students from the Faculty of Economic Sciences in the field of regional development, in which she introduces issues related to rural tourism.

Dr. Izabela Zabielska - Researcher and Academic Teacher - Department of Economic Policy, Faculty of Economic Sciences UWM-  University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Polan

Doctor of economic sciences, research, and academic teacher at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn (Poland). Her research interests concentrate on foreign (and cross-border) cooperation of local government units, entrepreneurs, and residents; issues in cross-border tourism and entrepreneurship, including rural areas. Scientific achievements include authorship and co-authorship of publications in this field. She has the practical experience and is an external expert in many projects, incl. commissioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Baltic Euroregion, and the Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer UWM in Olsztyn. She actively works for the development of entrepreneurship of primary and secondary school students at the Academy of Young Economists at the Faculty of Economic Sciences UWM in Olsztyn, during the Entrepreneurship Days at UWM or in the project "SHOWBIZ - Show Us Your Business! UWM program in Olsztyn. She is a coach of workshops: how to run your own business? and an expert in simulating the development of business ideas. She is a mentor supporting students' business ventures, a co-organizer of the Economic Knowledge Competition for young people "My company, my future". He is a member of the Polish Economic Society.
